Coastal Woods Campground Policies and Guidelines

Policies and guidelines are in place for the safety and convenience of everyone. Please read.

Cancellation and Refund Policy

Reservations cancelled more than 10 days in advance of arrival will incur a $35 fee.
Reservations cancelled less than 10 days before arrival will forfeit a refund of any kind.
No refund for weather conditions, voluntary departure, acts of nature or evictions. Any refund processed will be refunded in the same form that it was originally paid or as a credit towards a future stay to be used within one year from the date the reservation credit was issued.
Coastal Woods Campground does not give credit or refunds due to weather or camping discomforts. Please come prepared for FUN and whatever Mother Nature shall bring!

Terms of Service / Campsite Policies

Check In / Check Out – Check in is at 2 PM EST and check out is at 11:00 AM. Early check in is not permitted. If you will be arriving in the area early, please make arrangements until your site opens up at 2:00 PM. We do not have a waiting area for those checking in early. You do not need to contact the office for check out.

Late check-ins are allowed at any time, please just contact the park for instructions.

If you are staying in our park for a month or longer, we require a signed agreement. Please contact park for more details.

Site Changes – You have been assigned a specific site, if you wish to move, please check with the office. Due to reservations and maintenance, moving may not be possible. Please inquire before moving sites.

Open Fires – Open fires are not allowed in our park. Fires must be in fire pits or designated fire rings. Firewood can be purchased at the camp store. NO DUMPING TRASH IN FIRE PITS! If there is trash in fire pit at the end of your stay, we will charge a $25 fine.

Parking – Please do not park your vehicle or trailer on an adjacent site. Use of more than one site will result in additional charges.

Storage – Storage is not allowed under or around your picnic table.

Site and Park Navigation – Please be respectful of your neighbor and do not walk between sites when navigating the park. Please use main roads, sidewalks, and designated public paths to walk around the campground.

Washing – Washing RVs or vehicles is not permitted.

Pet Policies

Leash – Your pets must be on a leash at all times. This helps you, your pet, and the pets of other guests to stay safe.

Buildings – Pets are not allowed in the buildings. Please do not tie your pet to trees, doors, or posts. Pets are not allowed on the playground.

Cleaning Up After Your Pet – Be a good neighbor and use the dog walk area. Always clean up after your pet. Do not let your pet deposit waste on your site or any other guest’s site. Failure to clean up after your pet will result in your being asked to leave without a refund.

Unattended Pets – Pets may not be left unattended in our park. Please do not tie your pet to a tree and leave. Leaving your pets unattended is dangerous for your pet as many factors including weather, power outages, etc. can affect your pet’s well-being while you are away.

Pet Vaccinations – All pets must be vaccinated to stay in our park. You must represent and warrant that your dog is up to date on all vaccinations (including rabies and distemper) and flea treatments.

Barking – Excessive barking is not tolerated and disturbs your neighbors. Please note that excessive barking may result in your being asked to leave without refund.

Pet Permission Agreement – I understand that my permission to have my dog at the Campground with me is a privilege and not a contractual right. Such permission is expressly conditional upon my adherence to the terms of these rules and other rules in effect at any given time. I understand that the Campground may revoke such permission at any time for any reason.

Additionally, I hereby assume all responsibility of risks, injury, damage, other harm that may occur while my dog is at the Campground or caused by my dog. Further, I hereby knowingly and voluntarily expressly release and discharge the Campground, its owner, its agents, members, managers, directors, officers and employees (“Released Parties”) from any and all claims, damages, liabilities, injuries, demands, or causes of action, both present and future, whether known, unknown, anticipated or unanticipated, that me or my guests or invitees may have against any of the Released Parties arising out of or incident to my dog’s presence in the Campground, whether arising from any act or omission, whether negligent or otherwise, of me, my dog and/or any guest or invitee.

I further agree to indemnify each of the Released Parties for any and all such claims, damages, liabilities, injuries, demands, or causes of action, including costs, expenses, and attorney’s fees arising as a result of or related to the presence of the dog at the Campground. This provision shall be enforceable to the fullest extent of the law.

Vehicle Policies

Speed Limit – The park speed limit is 5 mph. This policy is to keep you, your children, and your pets safe. Exceeding this speed limit will result in a warning. Multiple warnings will require us to ask you to leave. Safety is our number one priority for our guests.

Parking – Each paid guest registration covers 1 RV per site and 1 vehicle per site unless noted. Please do not park extra vehicles on the grass. Additional vehicles are $6/per day. No parking in common areas. Do not park in the middle of the road. Do not park in sites that you did not register for and do not block our garages or our bathroom and laundry room doors. Parking on the grass is not permitted at RV Sites or in tent areas.

Other Vehicles – No ATV’s, dirt bikes, or golf carts are allowed.

General Park Policies

Severe Weather – In case of severe weather, seek shelter in the bathrooms. We love pets, so please bring them with you and do not leave them in your RV during severe weather warnings.

Visitors – Only registered guests are permitted to enter the park. All visitors must stop in the office to register and pay a guest fee. Visitors may not bring pets. Coastal Woods Campground reserves the right to limit the number of people visiting a site.

Day visitors must depart by 10:00 pm EST. Overnight visitors must depart by noon EST. Please check with the office before inviting any visitors. Registered guests are responsible for ensuring their visitors are properly registered and that all campground rules are followed.

Overnight visitors is $10.00 per night. Visitor day fee is $6.00 per person and $8.00 per car. Maximum of six guests per campsite.

Electrical Use – You are responsible for understanding how many amps you are using in your RV. Amp usage over the 20/30 AMPs provided can trip your breaker. Please be mindful of your amp usage, so that you don’t trip your breaker during your stay.

Please notify the office so that we can notify maintenance if you have any electrical issues during your stay. Guests are not permitted to diagnose our electrical pedestals per insurance and safety requirements. Maintenance is happy to help. Even if you are an electrician, laws prohibit you from working on our pedestals unless hired to do so.

Laundry – Laundry is currently unavailable. Once available, laundry facilities will be open 24/7. Change and laundry detergent is available at the camp store. Please do not leave your laundry unattended. We are not responsible for accidents or theft.

Restrooms – For the comfort of all guests, restrooms are open 24/7 with exception of a temporary closing for cleaning once per day. We ask for your help in keeping the restrooms clean, please. Guests under the age of 18 need adult supervision in the bathrooms and showers. Showers are metered ($.25/5 minutes) NOTE: Canadian Quarters do not work. If there are any problems, please contact the office immediately.

Playground – Loud music, glass, and rough play are not permitted at the playground. Failure to follow these rules will result in your being asked to leave without refund.

Quiet Time – Quiet time is 10 PM to 7 AM. Anyone playing loud music will be warned only once and then asked to leave without a refund.

Trash Disposal and Recycling – Dumpsters are located around the campground. Please tie trash bags completely closed and put your trash completely in the trash container. Please do not place your trash on the ground.

Woodland creatures like possums and raccoons are attracted to left out or disposed of food and while we think they are cute and wonderful animals, we don’t want you to find a raccoon at your site because of incorrectly disposed of trash!

Please do not dispose of any motor oil, cooking oil, wires, furniture, mattresses, or any toxic or hazardous waste items. Failure to adhere to this rule may result in charges for disposal fees.

Children – Children under 18 must be supervised by an adult at all times. Please ride bicycles only on the campground roads. Helmets are required for bicycling – no skateboards allowed. The playground closes at dark. Anyone under the age of 18 must be back at their site by dusk. Children may not use the restrooms without being accompanied by a parent or guardian.

Drones – Drones are not permitted in our park. Please do not fly drones over people or RVs.

Clotheslines – Clotheslines are not permitted in our park.

Fireworks and Firearms – Fireworks and firearms are strictly prohibited in our park. The prohibiting of fireworks includes sparklers, smoke bombs, aerials, and firecrackers. The prohibiting of firearms includes all guns including air soft, BB, and pellet guns. If these items are seen outside of your RV, you will be asked to leave immediately without a refund.

Repairs – Repairs to RVs and vehicles are not permitted in our park. We are happy to recommend a local Mobile RV Repair service that comes out to your site to assist you with any repairs.

Safety and Emergencies – Please call 911 for any emergencies.

Cancellation Policy – We do not give credit or refunds due to the discomforts of nature. The fun continues rain or shine! Our cancellation policy varies depending on the timing of your cancellation notice in advance of the reservation date.

10 DAYS PRIOR TO ARRIVAL – Full refund minus $35 cancellation fee.

LESS THAN 10 DAYS – Reservation forfeited.

GENERAL AGREEMENT

I HEREBY RELEASE, WAIVE, DISCHARGE AND COVENANT NOT TO SUE Coastal Woods Campground LLC, d/b/a Coastal Woods Campground, its owners and agents (collectively, Coastal Woods Campground), from any and all liability to me, my children, my invitees/guests, personal representatives, and heirs for any loss or damage on account of injury to person (including death) or loss or damage to property relating to, or arising out of, use and occupancy of the Coastal Woods Campground property, facilities, amenities, and any dangers and hazards associated with acts of nature such as changing weather conditions; high winds; thunder and lightning; temperature fluctuations; falling trees; tree limbs, ice; or encounters with wildlife.

I HEREBY AGREE TO INDEMNIFY, SAVE AND HOLD HARMLESS Coastal Woods Campground Management, and each of them, from any loss, liability, damage or cost (including attorney fees) they may incur due to injury (including death), damage or loss of property relating to use of the Premises by me, my children, and/or my invitees/guests or due to any incidents that may occur during my stay. I understand that, although Coastal Woods Campground Management makes every reasonable effort to provide a secure environment, the security of my person, my belongings, and all persons registered in my party is my sole responsibility.
